Precare and Aftercare Instructions
BROW PRECARE INSTRUCTIONS
Following these pre-care steps is essential for optimal pigment retention and the best possible results.
3 Days Before Your Appointment

-
Avoid taking blood-thinning supplements or medications, including Aspirin, Vitamin E, Multivitamins, Omega-3, Fish Oil, Ginkgo, and Melatonin.
-
Stop using Retinol, Retin-A, or any active skincare ingredients near the brow/PMU area.
-
Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before your appointment — these can increase sensitivity and bleeding.

The Day of Your Appointment

-
Cleanse and gently exfoliate the brow area to remove dead skin and prep for pigment absorption.
-
Avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before your appointment — these can increase sensitivity and bleeding.
-
Please come with clean hair, as you will not be able to wash your brows for 7 days after treatment.

BROW AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow these post-care steps carefully to ensure the best possible healing and retention of your pigment.
Immediately After Your Session

-
Gently blot the treated area with a clean tissue or paper towel to remove any lymphatic fluid throughout the day. This helps prevent scabbing.
-
Before bed: Use a clean cotton pad with warm water to gently wipe the brows in the direction of hair growth to remove excess lymph and pigment.
-
Follow with a light application of healing ointment using Q-Tip.

Healing Ointment

-
Apply a very thin layer of the provided healing ointment using a Q-tip twice daily for 7 days.
-
Avoid over-applying — brows should never look greasy.

What to Avoid (Days 1–10)

-
No water on the brows for at least 7 days — use caution when showering or washing your face.
-
Avoid sweating, saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts.
-
Keep the area away from makeup, skincare products, and acids/retinols.
-
No sun exposure or tanning.
-
Do not pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin — let it fall off naturally.

After Healing

-
Once fully healed, apply sunscreen daily to preserve pigment.
-
Avoid active ingredients (like retinols, AHAs, BHAs) directly on the brow area.

What to Expect

-
Week 1: Brows may appear darker or more intense — this is normal.
-
Week 2–3: Color may appear lighter or faded as the skin heals and regenerates.
-
Week 4–6: Color will gradually settle and become more vibrant. A touch-up may be recommended at this stage for best results.
LIP BLUSH PRECARE & POSTCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Proper preparation is key to achieving beautiful, long-lasting results and avoiding complications like cold sores.

5–7 Days Before Your Appointment

-
Begin daily exfoliation and moisturizing to keep your lips soft and smooth. Dry, cracked, or chapped lips may result in your appointment being rescheduled.
-
Use a gentle lip scrub or a warm washcloth to exfoliate, followed by a hydrating balm or ointment to lock in moisture.

Cold Sore Prevention (Highly Recommended)

Lip tattooing can trigger a cold sore outbreak, even if you’ve never had one before.

Choose one of the following options:

-
Prescription Option: Take an antiviral medication (such as Valtrex or Acyclovir) starting 2 days before your appointment and continue for 3 days after.
-
Natural Supplement Option: Take L-Lysine (1000mg daily) starting 10–14 days before your appointment and continue for a few days after to support your immune system and reduce the risk of a breakout.
